No retention calls.

From Settings → Subscription, click Cancel subscription. We ask once if you’re sure (because a misclick happens), and that’s it. No five-step survey about why, no “wait, let me transfer you to someone.”

You keep full access to the dashboard until your current billing period ends. The day after the period closes, Pearsight switches your account to a read-only mode: you can still log in, browse old data, export, but it stops syncing from Canvas and stops accepting new actions.

From the same settings page you can request a JSON export of everything Pearsight has ever stored about your family — assignments, statuses, comments, caregiver list. The export arrives by email within a day. Then, if you want, click Delete account and we remove every record from our database within 30 days.

If you were invited into someone else’s family

Deleting your account is the wrong size of exit for a second parent, a grandparent, or a sitter who simply doesn’t need the dashboard anymore. From Settings → Account, those accounts get Leave family instead. It removes that family’s information from your account — you lose access to the children’s assignments and notes right away, and the nicknames you set for each child are removed.

Your sign-in survives. Notes you left stay with the family, and the person who runs it can invite you back whenever. Deleting the account outright is still there if that’s what you actually want.
