One dashboard. Four collections. Three views.
The parent dashboard is the page you open every day. Pearsight sorts every assignment from every kid's Canvas account into four buckets that map to the rhythm of the school week.
The four collections — Today, Missing, Follow-Ups, and Upcoming— are the dashboard’s top-level navigation. Today is what needs attention right now. Missing pulls overdue assignments straight from Canvas. Follow-Ups holds everything you’ve flagged as Email Teacher or Redo Needed. Upcoming is the next 7–14 days.
Beyond the collections, you can switch between three views of the same data: a list view (what each collection opens to), a calendar view for visual week-by-week planning, and a timeline view that lays the next two weeks out chronologically.
Filters — by kid, by class, by status, by term — carry across every view. You set them once and the dashboard remembers.
What lives where
- Today — due today + recently in-progress + parent-flagged for tonight.
- Missing — Canvas-flagged overdue without a submitted answer.
- Follow-Ups — Email Teacher + Redo Needed statuses.
- Upcoming — due within the next 7–14 days, not yet started.
