Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

No. You can create a Pearsight account and use everything for thirty days without entering a card. We'll send a friendly reminder before the trial ends — if you don't want to continue, you don't have to do anything.

What happens after the trial ends?

If you'd like to keep using Pearsight, add a payment method and we'll bill six dollars a month for the family — plus two dollars a month for each kid beyond the first three. If you'd rather not, your account quietly pauses; your data stays put and you can come back later.

How is the price calculated?

Six dollars a month covers the family and up to three kids — that's the parent dashboard, caregivers you invite, and every shared feature. Each additional kid is two dollars more a month. Three kids: $6/mo. Five kids: $10/mo. Same math, no surprises.

Can other caregivers see the dashboard?

Yes. Invite a co-parent, grandparent, tutor, or anyone you trust with a single magic link. They get the same visibility you do — no extra seat fees, no separate accounts to manage.

What if I have four kids? Or six?

Accepted Answer

The base rate of six dollars a month covers the family and up to three kids. Each additional kid is two dollars more a month — so four kids is $8/mo, six kids is $12/mo. There is no per-caregiver fee at any point.

Can I cancel anytime?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cancel from your account settings and you keep access until the end of the current billing period. We don't ask for a reason, and we don't put you on a retention call. Your data exports as JSON on request.

Question 7

Do you support schools that use something other than Canvas?

Right now Pearsight reads from Canvas only — that's where we built the deepest integration. PowerSchool, Schoology, and Google Classroom are on the roadmap; tell us where your kids' schools land and we'll prioritize.

Question 8

Is my family's data safe?

Accepted Answer

Your Canvas token is encrypted at rest and only used to read assignments — Pearsight cannot submit work, message teachers, or change grades. We never sell or share family data with advertisers. Full details live on our privacy page.
