Cards, kid counts, summers.

The subscription page lives in your account settings. Change the payment method, update the kid count, switch to annual billing, or pause for the summer — all without writing to anyone.

Open Settings → Subscription and you’ll see the current state of your plan: family rate, per-kid count, next billing date, and the payment method on file. Every row is editable inline — tap the card icon to swap to a new credit card, tap the kid count to bump it up or down for next month’s cycle.

Per-kid charges roll on a school-year cycle, not monthly. Add a kid mid-year and Pearsight prorates the remaining months. Drop a kid mid-year — say, a senior who graduated — and we credit the unused portion back to your next monthly invoice.

Most families pause Pearsight for summer break. From the same page, click Pause subscription and pick a return date. Billing stops; your dashboard data stays put; the subscription resumes automatically on the date you set.

  • Card swap is instant; next-cycle change for plan / kid count.

Pearsight is a direct-to-consumer parent dashboard purchased by parents on behalf of their K-12 children. Although we may integrate as an institutional vendor or store a school-wide database it is only in those cases that we would require a district DPA (Data Privacy Agreement). Individual parents utilize their own FERPA-guaranteed right of access to authenticate their personal Canvas observer account. We do not sell, track, or re-disclose student data. The paying parent (18+) creates the family account, which constitutes verifiable parental consent under COPPA. Children do not sign up directly — their access is parent guided. Pearsight aligns with all global privacy standards and children protection standards, including GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, PECR, PIPEDA, SOPIPA, COPPA, and FERPA. See Privacy and Security for our full data-handling stance.
