About · Parent dashboard
The dashboard’s sandbox.
Custom is where you bend Pearsight to the way you actually think about school. Every filter, every sort, every grouping — combined in one view that the URL remembers for you.
Custom View opens with every filter the other views offer plus a few extras: grade-letter buckets, last-status-changed-by, day-of-week due, and date-range pickers. Combine three or four to carve out the slice you actually care about — say, Maeve’s missing math assignments from this term, sorted by recency.
Once you’ve built a view you like, the URL holds it. Bookmark the page and you’re back where you left off. Share it with a co-parent and they see the same filtered slice — useful when one parent owns “the math situation” and the other owns “the science thing.”
Custom doesn’t replace Today, Calendar, or Timeline — it complements them. Most parents keep Today as their go-to and use Custom for specific check-ins (the weekend cleanup, the late-week sweep, a tutor handoff).
