Verified means the conversation is closed.
Done in Canvas is a teacher's signal; Verified is yours. One tap, the assignment goes off your plate, and it stops showing up in Today or Missing forever.
Canvas tells you when an assignment has been submitted. It doesn’t tell you whether you have looked at it, asked your kid about it, or agreed that what got turned in was the real attempt. That last mile is where Verified lives.
You tap Verified once per assignment, anywhere you see it — Today, Calendar, Timeline, Custom, the kid view. The dashboard moves the card out of every “needs attention” lens and into the quieter Verified collection so it doesn’t come back to haunt your next check-in.
Verified is reversible. If your kid hits an issue after the fact — a teacher comment, a grade you want to revisit — tap to flip it into Follow-Ups and the conversation re-opens. Nothing about Verified gets pushed to Canvas; it’s a private signal between you and the family dashboard.
